It's good of you to check on me. Yes, having someone along for the ride does infinitely increase one's joy, at least if I may speak for myself. You said you haven't found many who click with you. That must be lonely.

Why hello again! How are you tonight hun?

Yes and no though....I am naturally a lone wolf anyway. My circle is small and those that are in it are valued and cherished. Just, being prior military, all my friends were mostly those that served with me and most of them, sadly, are no longer around.

but that makes meeting new people fun....or I try too, cause my opening line is terrible. XD

Your opening line expresses who you are and the face you show to the world. As long as you're being your truest self, it cannot be terrible.

Well that's kind of you to say, but not many people seem to get that when the first thing out of someone's mouth is: "You look familiar, have I threatened you before?" 🤣🤣🤣

Granted, those that laugh are worth knowing and we chat and those that look at me like I'm nuts are not worth my time. XD *snickering*

Hence I only go out once in a blue moon anyway.. XD

Do you? Life is so full of beauty and wonder. Out of doors is music, art, the opera, the ballet, theatre. Places to meet and converse with like-minded people, avenues to keep culture alive.

I go out when I feel the desire too, like to see such things as you speak of. I love the Opera, going for walks and museums and such. I just don't get to do most of that often as I would like. I prefer nature over people though. Meeting new people, in person, has always been hit or miss for me. I have a few friends that I do things with from time to time, but not often. They come 'kidnap' me every so often. Lol
